Home Page Design

Making election predictions the center of the experience

Designed to immediately guide users into the prediction experience, the homepage combines a bold visual identity with clear navigation, election information, and a prominent call to action. Interactive elements and real-time countdown information keep users engaged and build anticipation for election day.

KURDISH DESKTOP EXPERIENCE

Designed to feel natural in Kurdish

The Kurdish desktop experience combines right-to-left layouts with clear typography and spacious data views. Navigation and content follow a natural reading flow, making it easy to explore election history, compare results and submit predictions in Kurdish.

MOBILE EXPERIENCE

A full election experience, built for smaller screens

The responsive design brings predictions, election history and live insights to mobile. Adapted layouts, clear navigation and touch-friendly controls make it easy to explore data and share predictions on the go.

ELECTION HISTORY

Bringing past elections into focus

I transformed historical election results into an interactive visual experience, using maps and charts to make complex data easier to explore. Filters by region and year help users navigate election cycles, compare results and understand how voting patterns have changed over time.

ELECTION LISTS

A clearer view of the parties and candidates

I designed a structured overview of the election’s party lists, candidates and political platforms. Clear visual hierarchy and consistent layouts help voters browse each list, explore candidates’ positions and find relevant information without feeling overwhelmed.

ELECTION INFORMATION

Making the voting process clear

I designed a clear information hierarchy for key dates, eligibility requirements and voting procedures, making essential guidance easy to find and understand.

MY PREDICTION

Turning public opinion into interactive predictions

I designed an interactive flow for users to select parties, visualize their forecasts and submit predictions. Social sharing and live community predictions extend the experience, connecting individual forecasts to the wider public conversation.

CUSTOM ICONOGRAPHY

Small details, distinctive character

I created a custom icon set tailored to the platform’s visual identity, bringing a consistent style and recognizable visual cues to the interface

PARLIAMENT ILLUSTRATIONS

A familiar landmark, reimagined for the brand

I created multiple versions of the Kurdistan Parliament building, adapting its architecture to the website’s visual style and AVA Media’s branding. The illustrations were later used across the company’s election social media campaigns, extending the design beyond the platform.

PROJECT OUTCOME

30,000+ predictions. Impact beyond the platform

The bilingual platform received more than 30,000 predictions, turning election coverage into an interactive public experience across desktop and mobile. Custom parliament illustrations also became part of AVA Media’s election social campaigns, extending the project’s visual identity beyond the website.
